Sujey Esquivias

President

The President of the Board of Directors for Nuestras Raíces supervises and supports all group activities. They also coordinate with all committee and Board members to ensure that all goals, meetings and business are taken care of and carried throughout the year in a timely manner. As a trademarked 501 (c) 3, Nuestras Raíces complies with all state and federal annual requirements. It is the Board of Directors’ President who aids the Executive Director to execute the duties stated in our Bylaws, which ensures that we comply with our requirements as a non-profit organization.

Sujey Equivias’ children danced in our organization for many years. She has been serving in our organization for almost 20 years. She currently has a health and coaching business named Salud N Belleza. Sujey Esquivias is a proud native of the Harbor-Gardena area, with ties to the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. She is proud to serve her community in our organization. Ms. Esquivias’ life is dedicated to service to others and her community as Board of Directors’ President.
