Elizabeth Osuna

Instructor

Ms. Elizabeth Osuna has been dancing with Nuestras Raíces for over twenty years. As a member of the performing ensemble, she has performed at Disneyland, Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, Marsee Auditorium, among others. Ms. Osuna received her B.A from UC Berkeley in 2015. While she was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley she directed and choreographed for Reflejos de México, taking her work to stages such as Zellerbach Hall, Wheeler Hall and the Hearst Greek Theater.  In 2019, she graduated from the UCLA Teacher Education Program receiving her M.Ed and Bilingual Authorization. As part of her Master's Inquiry Project she used folklórico as a means to help her students explore their cultural identity. Ms. Osuna currently works as an elementary dual language educator in Culver City.
