Elizabeth Martínez

Ms. Elizabeth Martínez is one of the founding members of our organization. She started dancing in 1996 as a young girl and has continued to be active in our organization as a dancer, teacher, and Board of Directors member. Ms. Martínez is a proud UCLA Bruin, earning a B.A. in Spanish. She holds a Master’s of Arts and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from Loyola Marymount University. For the past five years, Ms. Elizabeth Martínez has served students at Adams Preparatory High School as a counselor and advocate. Equity and social justice are at the center of her work. In addition, strengthening her community as she works to create safe spaces that allow everyone the opportunity to explore culture while setting goals for themselves. Ms. Martínez is a talented dancer and has served on our Board of Directors for years in different capacities. She has added a soon-to-be dancer baby boy to her clan. She looks forward to seeing him hold his first pair of machetes.
